My Story
I’m Maya, and I recently came to GPRA from a shelter in Georgia. My past is not clear, but I’m told that my delightful personality quickly won the hearts of the shelter workers, and, more recently, my foster family. I am eager to please and working on basic commands. Walking is one of my favorite activities. I like to make new friends, both human and dog, along the way. Belly rubs, cuddling, and being brushed are some of my favorite things. I’m a love bug that is looking for my furever home. Could I be the Pyr for you?
Donate to Great Pyrenees Rescue of Atlanta
Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
