Hello, I am Skylar, a wandering boy who was made safe by a County Animal Control agent and held onto me until GPRA could pull me out. While I am new to this group, I am learning that I do like car rides and meeting new people can be fun and rewarding. I am a sweet lover boy who like to lean in and just look for attention. I just had my spa day so I will have them post new pictures of me so you can see how handsome I really am. I hope that I get a new family soon because having to stay in that scary place made me lose hope of a fun and adventurous future. The gals at the vet where I am boarding at keep promising me that my future is bright and there is family out there for me. This team is working to connect me with the PYRfect family and I know it will be soon. I will be forever grateful to the family that wants to share their lives with me. Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
