Baxter

It’s a beautiful day here in pyr world! Oh, hello, I’m Baxter! It’s so nice to meet you! Can you believe my name means “baker” ? My GPRA friends say that right now I’m like a little piece of dough that will be shaped and molded by the family who adopts me. Basically, I’m still a puppy who will need basic command training as well as potty training reinforced at my new home. Being a very young pyr, I get the zoomies! You know the feeling after you have your coffee and cake; you’re ready to run a mile. Well, a yard would be great for me to work off my energy too! Because I’m a playful and friendly pyr boy, I do great with other dogs. At my foster home, I hang out with all types of doggy friends, both big and small, all day, and we get along like cookies and milk! While I do have that pyr pup pep in my step, I’m actually very good on the leash. I even sleep through the night too! Like most pyrs, I have my bursts of energy, but I am also calm. While we’re waiting for the muffins to come out of the oven, you can brush me as I find it a very soothing activity. Of course, most importantly, I’m very good with people. You might even say I’m a sweetie pie because I love to snuggle. The real icing on the cake, though, would be if you adopted me today!
