Mirko
Hello, Pyr Friends! I’m Mirko, and I’m so pleased to meet you! Did you know my name means peace? Makes sense because my foster family has said I’m a chill dude. When I first meet people, I’m a little shy, but after a few sniffs, I make my peace with you and warm up very quickly. Once I do get to know you, I’m at peace, and then I like to give you lots of kisses! My foster mama says I’m a love bug, for sure. Another thing I love to do is chew on my chew toys. You can leave me in peace and quiet as long as I got my chew toy to gnaw on! I’m still learning how to go potty outside, but I’m really getting the hang of it. I’m a peace-maker, so I like to please my humans. Leash-walking is new for me too, so Foster Mama and I are practicing a lot. Right now, I pull a little mostly because walking on the leash is a bit confusing, but I know I’ll be strolling at a peaceful pace in no time! Foster Mom is also teaching me “sit” and “down,” and she tells me I’m doing a really good job. Part of being a peaceful pup is knowing basic commands, and Foster Mama says I’m very trainable! I’d love the peace of mind of knowing I’m going home to my new family. Could it be you?
Donate to Great Pyrenees Rescue of Atlanta
Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
