Panda

Hello, Pyr-Enthusiasts! I’m Panda, also known as Boss. I promise I’m not bossy! In fact, I’ve been described as very obedient. One way I can show you what a good listener I am is by how many commands I already know. I’m not pandering when I say I have mastered sit, stay, come, off and down. Pandas are black and white (just like me), and there’s no gray area for where I go potty. I’m always house-trained! I give a bark to let you know it’s time for me to go outside. While pandas are known to be soft-spoken animals, I do like to bark. It’s the pyr in me! Even though I can be vocal, I actually prefer a quiet and calm household much like a panda would. I think that’s why I get along with cats so well because they just want to curl up on a blanket and chill. A homebody I may be, but I actually do love walks and rides in the car. Being with my family is always my top priority, so where you go, I like to go too. That’s one way that I am really different from a panda bear as pandas like to live solitary lives, but I want to be by your side always. And, when I want more attention or cuddles, I’ll give you pyr paw! If you do need to leave me at home, however, I can be trusted without being crated because I’m a good boy! At my foster home, I’m so enjoying hanging out with my humans by the lake and the pool. I also like chilling in the backyard. I like to lay in the grass like a panda combing through a bamboo forest. A six-foot fence would be best for me, though, as I have been known to jump a fence now and then. Overall, I am an easy-going dude, as easy going as a panda chomping on some bamboo, which means I get along with anyone I meet and even other dogs. I just need slow introductions to other dogs, and then we can hang out. I’m not super playful, but once I got to know my foster dog siblings, we became friends. If you look at my pictures, you’ll see me looking left, right, and center. It’s because I’m searching for a family who will love me, and I can’t wait to give them all the love I have in my big panda bear-sized heart!
