Yoda Bear
Salutations, my pyr people! I’m Yoda Bear, but Foster Mama calls me Bear for short. She says I’m soft and cuddly as a teddy bear because I love being snuggled by my humans. Giving hugs and nudging your hand for more pets are my specialties! While wild bears don’t keep their dens particularly clean, Foster Mom tells me that I’m an excellent house guest. She says I never chew or slobber, and I only bark at delivery people. I’m just telling my foster mom that her packages are here. Also, I always ask to go potty outside, so I’m very housetrained! And, when new people come over, I’m as friendly and charming as fellow bear, Winnie-the-Pooh. I live up to my other namesake too! I’ve been told Yoda was a warrior both strong in body and mind. I am strong on the leash, but Foster Mom is working on it with me. She is impressed by my intelligence because I quickly learn what I should or shouldn’t do, so I’ll be able to walk without pulling in no time! Yoda was also friends with all different kinds of people, and I like to hang out with other dogs AND cats. While Yoda can jump far distances to get to a new place, I have to ride in a car, but, good news, I am a great car rider. I’m not in a galaxy far, far away; I’m right here, and I’m a sweet, easy-going dog who is ready to come home with you!
Donate to Great Pyrenees Rescue of Atlanta
Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
