Buongiorno, my name is Aldo! I’m not Italian, but my name sure sounds like I am. I’m as sweet as a cannoli, and my coat is fluffy white like the filling too. Right now, I’m still a little shy because I came from a farm. I’m so ready to live la dolce vita, or the good life in Italian. In Italy, people love walking by all the palazzos, or pretty buildings. I want to learn how to walk on the leash, so we can see our own neighborhood palazzos, or houses. My GPRA walker friends say I’m getting better on the leash every day, and they always say, “Grazie Mille,” or thank you very much, because I look to them for cues on what to do. I take direction very well! And, when we’re home, we can snuggle on the couch while the pasta is boiling. Maybe, we’ll make baked ziti or lasagna! Either way, I’ll be happy just being with you. GPRA volunteers have also boasted that I’m a dog lover’s dream! Will you take me home and help me learn what living in a villa, or a house, is all about? I promise I’ll be the best good boy this side of the Mediterranean Sea!

Donate to Great Pyrenees Rescue of Atlanta

Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
