Acacia Joy
Hi folks! I’m Acacia Joy – but you can call me AJ! I am very happy to be in a home now, and am adjusting well to being with people of all ages. Sometimes, I get a little nervous about being left alone – especially when it storms. I love when my new family is close by – it helps me to feel safe, but I also like to keep an eye on them, as would any loyal Pyr! I’m learning so many new skills from my family – like how to play! Who would think that these things my family call toys could be so much fun (and make squeaky sounds)! I have gone on some walks with my foster family, and they are very proud of my leash skills. I hope to find a family that will love me, and I can love them back and be a loyal companion. Won’t you take a chance on me?
Donate to Great Pyrenees Rescue of Atlanta
Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
