Great Pyrenees
Buddha here to wish everyone a happy day! My motto is ‘every day is a great one.’ If you want a loving, fun, somewhat rambunctious spirited Pyr boy, look no further. I am great with other dogs and very affectionate.
If I may brag a bit, GPRA’s volunteers think I’m pretty special! I know this because they tell me. (Maybe this is why I’m such a happy boy!) One volunteer said it best by stating that I am “full of puppy love and will need a strong adopter who will lead me with love and structure.” (Truth be told, every dog deserves and needs such!)
Here are other fun tidbits that GPRA knows about me.
“Buddha is a prime Pyr Primadonna because he refuses to walk in the mud or puddles.”
“Buddha is everyone’s favorite and ready-to-go energizer-Pry.”
“Buddha is very smart and will soak up everything his owners teach him. He is a people pleaser, too!”
“Every time I see Buddha, I refer to him as Mr. Stylish.”
GPRA thinks that a family with smaller dogs may not be the best fit for me because I am active. Just keep in mind, I am still young and playful, and as I get older, I will enjoy more naps and lower activity levels.
I cannot wait to meet my future family. But, until then, I will be soaking up lots of love and attention from my favorite humans, GPRA volunteers.
Your Pyr fun boy, Buddha

Donate to Great Pyrenees Rescue of Atlanta

Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
