My Story
Hi there! I’m Howl Castle, and I’m on the lookout for my forever home. I’ve been in foster care and things are going great so far! I’m a ball of energy, full of love and ready for fun. I absolutely love to play, especially if there’s another active dog around to join in on the fun. I’m still learning my leash manners (I can get a little excited and pull), but I love my walks and car rides, and I’m making progress. I’m a bit of a worker too—I love alternating between playtime and guarding the yard. I like feeling like I’m doing something important!
I haven’t had a chance to meet any cats yet, but I’m always eager to learn new things, so if you have them, I’ll do my best to adjust. And did I mention I have freckles on my face? It’s a small thing, but it’s a little quirk that makes me unique!
If you’ve got an active household and another dog to play with, we’ll get along great! I’m looking for a family who can keep up with my energy and appreciates my playful side.

Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neutering, and even behavioral training if necessary.
